Musical Style: Jazz, pop, rock, classical influences are combined and fused. Virtually through-composed.

Productions: Yealmpton Youthspring, 1990. Two productions by Gatehouse Youthspring, Dawlish 1994 and 1998. Productions in Cambridge, Mass. USA in 2003 and 2008.

Unusual Stage Requirements: The work features a giant jigsaw, that needs to be lifted and displayed to the audience.

Summary of Story: When a piece of the living jigsaw-puzzle doesn't fit one day and another vanishes, the Puzzle-Jigs abandon their home. But in the Real World, the puzzle-jigs are just cardboard cut-outs. Bedraggled and downcast they return to destroy the Piece that Doesn't Fit. Only at the last moment is he saved by the return of the Missing Piece who relates a visionary journey...
